Rappahannock County is a scenic getaway destination located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the scenic Piedmont Region of Virginia, 75 miles west of Washington, DC and close to other major metropolitan areas in the Mid-Atlantic Region.
Location of Farm Tour Headquarters:
The Link at The Schoolhouse, 12018 Lee Highway, Sperryville, Virginia. The Link is located at the intersection of Route 211 (Lee Highway) and Route 522 (Zachary Taylor Highway).
Directions from D.C./Capital Beltway:
From I-495 in Virginia, take I-66 west to Route 17 south to Warrenton. Follow Route 17 business into Warrenton. Turn right on Route 29/211 and take Route 211 west approximately 20 miles to Rappahannock County.
Directions from Richmond:
Go west on I-64 to Route 15 (towards Gordonsville) through the traffic circle onto Route 231 until the road dead ends at Route 522. Follow Route 522 north into Sperryville; follow 522 east to Route 211. The Link at The Schoolhouse is at the intersection of Routes 522 and 211.
Directions from Charlottesville:
Take Route 29 north to Madison. Take the first Madison exit (Route 29 business and Route 231 north); take Route 231 north until it dead ends at Route 522. Take a left on Route 522, going north into Sperryville and follow the road joins Route 211. The Link at The Schoolhouse is at the intersection of Routes 522 and 211.
Directions from Winchester:
Take Route 522 south into Rappahannock County.
From Baltimore and Philadelphia:
Take I-95 south to the Capital Beltway, I-495. Follow directions from the Capital Beltway above.
